SHOW and TELL PROJECTS

Denis Muras shows more of his toy cars made of mahogany, maple and cherry.  He finished them with a coating of beeswax and mineral oil.

    A cross and Christmas bells are shown by Rick Spacek.  The cross is of red oak and scrollsawed from one solid piece.  The bells were all cut at the same time.  A lacquer finish graces all his craft work.  L1030655.JPG (219079 bytes)  L1030657.JPG (226856 bytes)

          L1030643.JPG (212041 bytes)   L1030642.JPG (244244 bytes) Charles Volek holds a cross that he crafted.  One, made of western cedar, bloodwood and poplar creates the impression of stained glass.  The other one is scrollsawed from walnut and maple. Charles holds a stand that he crafted for the first cross.

          An intarsia spooked black cat is silhouetted on a pumpkin by Steve Wavro. The cat was dyed black and the pumpkin was painted with orange acrylic paint.  Woods used are western red cedar and poplar.
